What is the currency in Poland ?
The currency in Poland is the Polish Zloty (PLN). The 1 PLN is about 0,28
U.S Dollar, and about 0,25 Euro. To get an information about current exchange

National Bank of Poland. There is no limit on the amount of foreign
currency one may bring into Poland, provided that it is declared upon arrival.
Major credit cards (VISA, Mastercard,...) are accepted at most hotels, leading
shops and restaurants.
Polish banks offer all the services provided in major financial centres.
Currency exchange facilities are available at the airport 24 hours a day.
What are the electricity voltage and the
electricity plugs in Poland ?
The electricity supply is 220-240 V, 50Hz. The plugs used in the Poland
are almost the same like in most countries of Europe, except United Kingdom,
Ireland, Cyprus and Malta. Please visit this

Do I need an entry visa ?
For participants from most countries a visa to Poland is not necessary,
but we suggest you to ask your travel agent to check.
What is the official language ?
The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translations
will be provided. Oral presentation and discussion will be in English only.
What about Shopping ?
Most malls (like supermarkets) are open Monday-Saturday between 10:00 and
22:00 hrs. Some smaller shops open between 10:00 and 17:00 hrs.

In September, the daytime temperature in the Central Poland may run in
the range 15-25°C. Both sweater and raincoat are recommended,
